Hoda Kotb recently shared insights into her breakup with longtime boyfriend and fiancé, Joel Schiffman. During an interview on the Jamie Kern Lima Show, the *Today* Show host reflected on their relationship, which ended in 2022 after eight years together, including a two-year engagement.

"Joel is one of the best people I know," Hoda said, emphasizing that sometimes, even two great individuals aren't enough to make a relationship work. She explained that their paths began to diverge, making it difficult to stay in sync. "When people are growing at different paces, it's hard to be in sync," she noted, acknowledging that many people face similar challenges in relationships.

Despite the breakup, Hoda emphasized that she and Joel remain connected through their daughters, 7-year-old Haley and 4-year-old Hope. She also expressed optimism about finding love again, saying, "When I close my eyes and envision the romantic part of my life, I see it very clearly. I know it is coming for me."
