Residents of Athens suburb survey destruction after wildfire

Charred land and burned or heavily damaged properties was what some of the residents of Vrilissia returned to on Tuesday (August 13), after the flames reached the northern suburb of Athens on Monday afternoon, prompting Greek authorities to issue a chain of evacuation orders. Seventy-year-old Sakis Morfis had to flee his house when he realized there was no other choice.
