The Mega Manitoba Movie: Episode XXXVIII (part 10 of season 2)

In this episode we leave the inter-lake of Manitoba. Our bike trip began late morning due to the downpour we suffered the night before. After drying out a few things we left Winnipeg Beach and biked south on highway 9 to Petersfield where we had lunch. After lunch at the park, we continued traveling south into Selkirk, one of Manitoba's larger communities. Selkirk is some 30 km north of Winnipeg. We had a good rest in Selkirk and stocked up on supplies. We also decided to cross the Red River in Selkirk on an old bridge since there was major construction on the bridge in Lockport. We arrived early in Lockport, so we had a rest at the park by the river, north of the locks. Later that evening we had already made arrangements to meet Marilea at the half moon restaurant for supper. Before we ate, we had just enough time to changed our bike seats that caused some major problems. After our meal and rest we got back on our bikes and traveled to Birds Hill Provincial Park where we camped.
