Bushcraft Shelter Build - Episode 5 - Tripod Floating Raised Bed

Episode 5 of this #bushcraftshelter build series brings us back into the forest to continue work on the raised bed that will be "floating" between two tripods. Guest staring in the episode is my dog, Zeus, who is 8 years old and still gets around pretty darn well. He is starting to show signs of old age with arthritis in his legs. I know he enjoyed being out there with me.

After working on the #raisedbed Zeus and I walk down the creek to do some exploring where we find lots of deer and a few coyote tracks. We find where the small creek that camp is on feeds into the Big Elkin creek which flows through downtown Elkin where I live. It was pretty cool to see.

There is so much I want to do to this shelter. I have so many ideas of what I want to add to it and really make it a great spot for years of #camping and enjoyment.
