The events occurred on February 17th, 2024 at the US border patrol checkpoint located on interstate 35 approximately 25 miles north of Laredo, Texas. Border patrol agents searched a vehicle and discovered seven undocumented non citizens hidden inside the cab. The body worn cameras captured the arrest of the semi truck driver and the time in custody leading up to his death.
