Potty Training: Peeing, Farting and Hand Washing After KinderMusik

After a fun-filled KinderMusik class, Mishti told her Daddy that she hat to "pee in the potty" before leaving.

The most important things we've found to be part of our Potty Training Journey are 1) listening to your small human when they say that they need to go, 2) asking them throughout the day IF they need to go and acting accordingly and 3) consistency when it comes to the procedures you follow once you get to the potty.

When it comes to #3, this covers everything from getting the seat prepared to how you get their pants and underwear/diaper pulled down, to communicating what they'll be doing on the potty (pee pee and or poo poo), how they are to wipe when finished and so on.

And don't be afraid or embarrassed to sing silly songs with your Small Human to help remember what to do - like when it comes to handwashing!

But most of all - TRY TO HAVE FUN WITH IT no matter where you are and no matter how big or small the facilities available to you happen to be!
