8-5-24 West Perry SD COW Meeting

Discussed Title IX regs, Care Solace, the recent PA budget requirement for schools - security personnel, transportation contracts, several policy updates (updating references within these policies to keep them accurate and current based on other changes w/in the education and legal fields). An executive session was called at approximately the 65 minute mark for personnel reasons (per Board President) and the public meeting resumed at approximately the 92 minute mark. Several more policies were reviewed for necessary updates and will be presented to the public with the updates at the next Board Mtg for first readings. 24-25 Professional Learning plan presented by asst superintendent.
