A disaster, no way around it!
Received with disastrous WOM, #Lionsgate’s new video-game adaptation #Borderlands with a 115M price tag grossed just 8.8M on 3-day Opening weekend.
Again, almost 3x less than 2018 #TombRaider’s 23.6M or even 2021 R-rated #MortalKombat’s 23.3M which was day&date on #HBOMax.

If you think things are bad for #Borderlands in the US, overseas it’s even worse.
The videogame adaptation grossed 7.7M on 5-day opening over 73 markets.
Allied to its 8.8M opening weekend at US #BoxOffice, the #Lionsgate blockbuster, with a 115M production price-tag not including marketing, had a 16.5M Global Opening.

But #Neon has plenty of reasons to celebrate anyway, as, despite losing -840 theatres this weekend, R-rated Horror #Longlegs crossed the 70M mark at US #BoxOffice!

Despite #Deadpool3 & #TRAP, #MaikaMonroe & #NicolasCage grossed strong 2M on 5th 3-day weekend, just a -52.8% drop from last weekend, despite losing -840 theatres on FRI, now playing in just 1.300, and hitting a 71.3M cume in the US.
