Rome's Mark of Authority

There is no verse in God's Word pointing to Sunday as being the Lord's Day. During the reign of Emperor Constantine in the fourth century, there was a change in religious observance from the seventh day Sabbath, Saturday, to the first day of the week, Sunday. This change was effected to merge paganism and Christianity together for the uplifting of the Roman Empire. In 538 A.D, the Papacy, already accustomed to Sunday worship, began enforcing it when it received political power from the emperor Justinian. A rival sabbath has been set up by the enemy of souls to garner worship from the whole world. Let us examine this further.
