Sick pet cat thrown away - the ultimate betrayal #kittenrescue #indonesia #irish

This was last nights emergency - a very sick pet cat thrown away just for being sick. I found him sitting aimlessly at one of the usual dumping places. He looked bewildered and confused. It was obvious straight away that he was very sick. There is no longer any 24 hour vet availability in this area - so we had to give him subcutaneous fluid drip until we could get him to the vet this morning. He was then put on iv drip and had oxygen for a while. He has Calici virus with secondary bacterial infection. He also has blood parasites. He will staying in the clinic tonight and we are hoping he will pull through. He has a lovely nature and seemed to know that we were trying to help him last night - he was trying to purr and trill even while having difficulty breathing.

Thanks to Our Vet, Klaten who helped us out with transport for him this morning - we are really under pressure at the moment and providing transport for him was an immense help to us.
