Quick vid for anyone interested in hiking up Mount Batur in Bali to watch the sunrise at about 6am. This hike is arranged by guides due to the trek being quite dangerous. This video is a typical experience by tourists using these guides, although experiences will vary.

We stayed in the Kintamani region for ten days and could see the mountain every morning. We only saw one morning where the mountain was too cloudy at sunrise, otherwise okay.

We were picked up at 330am via jeep from our accommodation and taken to the base of the mountain. The incline took about 1.5 hours and we stayed at the top for a couple of hours. The descent was about an hour down the other side of the mountain, where we were picked up and taken back to our lodgings.
