Pilots did a splendid job to carry out the belly landing of Kenyan DHC8-300 aircraft (5Y-SMI) that suffered both main landing gear wheels (with axle and portion of struts) missing incident and was forced to land at Malakal airport in South Sudan on August 09.

The UN humanitarian Aircraft operated by Renegade Air, had lost its landing gear parts during take-off at Buny Airstrip in Jonglei.

At least 35 passengers survived the incident and were evacuated safely.
