Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

Today looks like a pretty nice day with highs in the low-80s, though possibly cooling down lakeside.  Tonight should be quiet with lows in the mid-50s. Thursday, most of the day should be quiet for most of us, but now with just a bit of instability starting to creep in, I can't rule out an isolated T'storm, mainly to the NW. Highs will top out in the low-80s. Thursday night, with the sun going down, instability will wane, and we probably should be quiet with lows on the warm side in the low-60s. Friday, this will probably will be the best chance of scattered thunderstorms over the next 7 days. With daytime heating, we'll probably start to see scattered T'storms develop as the afternoon wears on. If you do end up under one, you could see a gust of wind or possibly a bit of hail. It'll be warm and more humid with highs in the mid-80s. Now with a little instability hanging around for the Holiday Weekend, there will be small chances of afternoon showers or a T'storm, but you will have many more dry hours than rain. Highs will be in the mid-80s with some humidity for the whole weekend. That sounds awfully nice!
