On Wednesday evening, Lacey Police responded to a narcotics' complaint. The vehicle involved left the scene and got on to I5 SB. The vehicle return showed the car was stolen out of Tacoma. When Lacey PD attempted to stop the car, it fled on to Trosper Rd.

Lacey PD terminated their attempted traffic stop and TCSO took over, initiating a pursuit. The vehicle fled west on Trosper Rd at 100mph before crashing into a large retaining wall. The driver was apprehended without further incident.

During a post arrest search, deputies located numerous stolen ID’s in the vehicle. Additionally, the suspect had the car owner's ID and a stolen knife belonging to them in his pocket. He was booked into Thurston County Jail for attempting to elude, ID theft, and driving without a valid license.

Great work by our deputies getting another individual out committing crimes in our community, off of our streets!
