Let's talk about sleep and depression. In depression there are often sleep disturbances and sleep problems so people can either have insomnia which is a problem getting to sleep and getting enough sleep or they can have sleep hypersomnia which is sleeping too much.💙

Now personally I think sleep is absolutely critical for our physical health, our emotional health and our mental health and I credit sleep with getting me or helping to get me out of depression and one of the ways you can do that is by looking into sleep hygiene which is a number of measures that you can take to try to ensure that you get that decent amount of sleep at night and that will do the world of good if you're currently suffering from depression.💙

Now I know like I said people with depression have sleep problems but if you can make slight changes sleep hygiene improvements then hopefully that sleep will start coming back to you on a regular schedule.💙
