The head of state held a meeting with the heads of security agencies in connection with the situation in the Kursk region.

The meeting was attended by Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Secretary of the Security Council Sergei Shoigu, and Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov. A report on the situation in the Kursk region in connection with the provocation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was presented by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Defense Minister Valery Gerasimov.
