Annabella tells the story of a young woman trying to make it in the music industry but she won't sign a bad contract and lose her creative rights and ownership of her own music. There is a very profound line in the song that say's, "The way to fly, You got to sell your wings". To me that means, If you want to fly up to stardom, you have to sell the things (wings) that makes you free. I love that line and am constantly amazed by the song writing of this young band.
