Created by Maurice Richlin and Blake Edwards (not William Peter Blatty as stated by mistake), Inspector Clouseau finds a very close cousin in Inspector Juve, Fantomas' arch nemesis, of the Surete in Paris. Could the classic comic character have been inspired by the also comic, but very serious, character of Juve?
