Lake Fanaco dry and cracked after record-low rainfall

Lake Fanaco in Palermo, Sicily, was seen almost completely drained and cracked at the bottom following a winter of minimal rainfall. Fanaco is the latest lake in Sicily to dry up this year, after Pergusa and Ogliastro lakes, leaving local communities without a water supply.
