UnbeLIEvable: ATT Bullies Wyandotte , Butte BOS Votes Against The People (AGAIN)

On 7-30-24, at the very beginning of this video, you hear a representative for AT&T say “we don’t think it’s appropriate to consider any health and safety questions” as he pushes for an appeal to reverse a decision made by Butte County’s own planning commission who had decided against building the controversial 5G cell tower so close to residents homes. Public comment then provided by people who reside in the proposed project area in a unanimous outcry to uphold the decision to NOT go forward with its construction. But what do the Butte County Board of Supervisors do? In a stunning display of arrogance and disregard of their role and duty to serve their constituents, they sided with big bully ATT and voted against the will of the people of Wyandotte, as well as their own planning commission. Their only job is to serve and represent the people and they haughtily and remorselessly thumb their noses at every turn. Bill Connelly tastelessly jokes about how he won’t post reelection signs in that part of his district ever again because he knows he’s made a permanent rift with the families and farmers who will be affected by this massive 5G tower.
