At the Big Plains by Alex Gregg

This latest tone poem is based upon the old west and the Great Plains of the United States of America. You will see the vast landscape of the plains, followed by the sudden expansion of a western town full of hustle and bustle. With this growth came the distant whistles of a steam locomotive. The sounds of the town and the locomotives became too much for the people who did not grow up with those technological advancements. The people try recalling when the plains were a quiet place, with little success. Eventually, the Great Plains became quiet once again.

There is a little nod to Ennio Morricone’s theme to The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. All rights to the soundtrack go to their respective owners.
