Our Model of the Holden Torano shows again this maker's abilities producing such great products. In the first years of motor racing in Australia, about all vehicles raced, where vehicles are the same vehicles on the dealer's showroom.
So apart from small changes to the body, this model is the same as the other model, which is the same as the non-racing Torana A9X car. Our model paintwork is of excellent quality, and the decals give it that extra something special that every collector looks for. All opening parts open wide and hold, with plenty of access to both engine, interior and trunk.
The interior is as a normal passenger sedan and has complete seating both front and rear. The only change has been the addition of a safety roll cage. This is removable, so you can return it to its original state. Even the console with the instrument panel is stock.
The difference is the hood with its distinctive air scoop, that is also available as an accessory for cars of this model. Opening this shows a detailed engine, with about all the parts shown. Those mag wheels are also available to stock users. When we look underneath our model, we can see that exhaust piping from the engine block to its termination at the side. This detail continues with the work that shows the engine block with transmission, with the tail-shaft going to the rear axle. Also, it reveals the fuel tank.
