It is undeniable that there are countless zombie games available, but there is a certain satisfaction and fondness in the old, slow-moving zombies. The Land of the Dead game, however, is a mere prequel to the movie, following a lone farmer on his journey from his home to the bustling city of the living. The path is fraught with hordes of the undead, all craving for a well-aimed shot to the head. To be frank, the game is nothing extraordinary. The zombie designs are decent and the dismemberment effects are impressive, but that's about it. The highlight lies in scavenging for supplies and the variety of weapons and equipment at your disposal. It truly gives off the feeling of being the last survivor in a desolate world, but it's hard to ignore the fact that it feels like a cheap, low-budget game.
