Frozen Stiff. A Canada Goose Hunt.

After scouting a field full of geese and ducks for nearly a week, we finally got into the field on the final day of Ohio's duck season. With bitterly cold temps and a fresh snow, our goose decoys, two dozen full bodies, and two dozen shells at daybreak. We also put out six full body mallards, covered our blinds with snow covers and a few corn stalks, and waited for the birds to feed.

Some days you just do everything right, and the birds work just like they are supposed to. This was one of those days. Sadly we only captured footage on a GoPro because it was to cold for the video camera to operate!
