Early Season Buck Encounter

During an early season archery hunt in mid October, a nice buck made an appearance at first light. At 20 yards he offered no shot through the thick vegetation, and slowly slinked away unharmed. Perhaps I'll get another chance at this guy later in the season!

The video quality isn't great, but then again it was shot before the sun came up using a DSLR and the best low light lens and settings I could manage. Additionally, one hand was on the camera, while the other was on the bow. I did eventually get to full draw twice, once at 30 yards with a Texas heart shot in a tiny limb free window, and again out past 50 yards, but it just wasn't in the cards!
