Hiker Hangout - Colorado Trail Debrief

The Colorado Trail Trip is in the books. This is our livestream discussion after just getting off trail last week. With Guests, Brad from As the Crow Flies Hiking, Jeff from JBenHikes, and Taylor from SouthernHike.

We traversed over 80 miles of rugged Colorado wilderness, completing segment 25 through 28 of the Colorado Trail in 6 days and 5 nights. We begun by riding the Durango Silverton Train to the Elk Park wilderness stop. We grabbed our bags and headed out into the backcountry, 80+ miles from our destination of the southern terminus of the Colorado Trail.

Once we finished that adventure we decided to cap the trip off with the climb of Mt Quandary, a 14er (14,272 ft), and the 11ths tallest peak in Colorado.
