Dashcam video shows theft suspects jump from moving car on highway

Dash camera video provided by Springboro Police show the chase and, ultimately, the arrest of an 18-year-old vehicle theft suspect.

Police initially reported that one suspect had been arrested. The video shows two people jumped from the vehicle. Police did not mention a second suspect in their initial report; we're waiting to hear back on whether the second suspect remains on the run.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Dayshawn Marvin Lee Brinson, 18. He is charged with Failure to Comply with the Order of a Police Officer, Breaking and Entering, Obstructing Official Business, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

Brinson and another person were seen on dashcam video driving north on I-75, just south of US 35 in Dayton.

The reportedly stolen car they were driving slowed and swerved around "stop sticks" intended to deflate the car's tires. Moments later, the car slowed, the two occupants jumped out, leaped over the guardrail and fled from police. The car continued rolling until it came to rest against the guardrail.
