In 2123. Humanity has survived three extinction events. The last space capable society was finally rotted from within by Extinction Front, a movement dedicated to ending the human race from within.

Tril, on a reconnaissance mission to another galaxy, is the only one who did not receive summons to return to Mars, due to a faulty receptor. Last signals indicate that everyone was pulled back as a plot to destroy the planet and end humanity.

Now he is alone. Humanity behind him, but the galaxy in front of him.
