I think he's saying that with a wide open lens plus bright sky, you need very quick exposure not to ruin the picture quality, and secondly, to capture facial expressions you want a rapid exposure, perhaps unlike taking combat photos like Yon did.

Yon is right, Mills needs to upload the RAW photos. He says he's bothered by the "conspiracy theories", well, that's the only way to quell them.
