One suspect allegedly held two guns and fired 69 shots when an armed robbery attempt didn’t go his way. The victim was off-duty Cook County corrections deputy Rafael Wordlaw, who managed to get off a shot of his own before being killed.
Deputy Wordlaw’s murder underscores a troubling trend in Chicago.
