Initial test polish on an extremely rare slab of precious opal infused petrified wood, an opalized wood known as Conk Opal. The opal has replaced fungus rot holes and partially permineralized the wood which is about 15 million years old. From the opal mines of Virgin Valley in Nevada USA.
