Edgar Rice Burroughs Barsoom book series has been on the adaptation docket for a long time after many aborted attempts. Finally, Pixar's Andrew Stanton was finally able to get it made with the full force of Disney behind him.

Estimated losses on the movie was $200 million, making it one of the biggest flops of all time.

But, just because it was a flop was it a bad movie? We take a look.
