Ellis County Precinct 2 Sub-Courthouse Top-Out Ceremony on July 30th, 2024

This week marked a major step in Ellis County’s 2050 Strategic Plan. Judge Todd Little & County Commissioners, Judge Jackie Miller, and Constable Casey Borders were honored to take part in a “top-out” ceremony to sign the last beam of the new Precinct 2 Sub-Courthouse.

This new building is a much-needed replacement for the portable-style facility that has hosted the Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 court for nearly three decades. When the new sub-courthouse is completed, citizens will benefit from a major improvement in accessibility for the Precinct 2 Justice Court.
