As anti-government protesters sought PM Sheikh Hasina's resignation, and clashed with government supporters and security officials, a nation-wide curfew was imposed in Bangladesh.
Protests had sparked earlier last month after students sought a rollback of the 30% reservation for families of freedom fighters.
