I know it's been a while since my last video – I've been tied up with a motion picture production that's now in post-production, and of course, the school holidays had me all over the place. But I'm back on the ice, living my best life, and ready to share all the exciting news with you! First off, make sure you catch up on my previous videos if you missed any of the action. There's so much happening, it'll be a challenge to fit it all into one video, but here we go! Western Province Masters Ice Hockey is gearing up to compete in an inter-provincial challenge at the end of August and the beginning of September. This year's competition is extra special as it’s for the newly sponsored Dave Rogers Challenge Cup for Masters Ice Hockey. Dave Rogers is a legendary figure in South African ice sports, synonymous with all things ice skating and ice hockey and has significantly contributed to the sport and enjoyment of ice skating in our wonderful country. Our team is ready to take on the youngest ice hockey challenge yet, as other parts of the country start up their own Masters divisions, inspired by the success of our Mother City Beer League Ice Hockey Division. And that's not all – the Super League senior ice hockey is heating up too! We've got some exciting friendship games coming up in August, featuring the Cape Town Kings in action.
