JURASSIC PARK LEVEL 02 - NES GAMEPLAY [WALKTHROUGH + TIPS/TRICKS]

After rescuing Tim, the player must find Lex in the T. rex holding pen. Locate the key to enter the Velociraptor cage, find another key to exit to the dock, navigate the river, and then find Lex (In the river, there are two scenes. If the player finds all the eggs in one scene, they get 1. For both, the player gets 2. 1. climbs up.). After doing this, the player must fight the T. rex to save themselves and Lex. Unlike the first level, the player does not lose health if Lex is trampled by the T. rex. If the T. rex eats the player or Lex, the player must restart the battle. Lex will run around until he touches the player. Once that happens, he will stay in that spot for 7 seconds. It is crucial to remember the T. rex's movements so that Lex is in a spot where he will not be eaten. Lex can only be eaten or trampled if he stands still. The player can only hurt the T. rex when its head is lowered to the ground trying to eat the player. The player will shoot its head while trying not to be eaten. Once the T. rex’s health is depleted, it will flee, and the player advances to Level 3. (2 computer glitches were not caught before the game was released. In the level, Lex has grayish-white hair instead of blonde as he does in the movie. Also, after the T. rex flees, its head will remain on the ground. If the player or Lex is eaten while the retreat is in progress, the game will continue to Level 3).
