A new Pew survey reveals that a majority of Americans feel the U.S. is less respected globally now than in the past. While only 13% believe it’s more respected today, with 19% saying it’s as respected as ever. Interestingly, there are significant partisan divides, with around 81% of Republicans viewing the U.S. as less respected—a notable shift from the Trump era.
