CYNOCEPHALY: THE WORLD HISTORY OF DOG-HEADED MEN

There are many tales of dog-headed men, or cynocephaly, from across the world, stemming from many centuries ago. Cynocephaly are creatures or gods with the head of a dog or jackal and the body of a human. China, India, Egypt, Greece, and medieval Europe all have stories of Cynocephaly in their myths and legends. There are also dog-headed men shown on Old World maps, and accounts of dog-headed men in historical records, from Saint Christopher to King Arthur's battle with an army of cynocephaly, and many more tales.
