North Korea delivered 250 nuclear-capable missile launchers to frontline military units, with leader Kim Jong Un advocating for the continued expansion of the country’s nuclear program to counter U.S. threats.

Kim’s intent to deploy battlefield nuclear weapons along the South Korean border and authorize preemptive nuclear strikes has raised global concerns.

The launchers, produced by North Korean munitions factories, are designed to fire tactical ballistic missiles.

Kim emphasized that these new launchers would enhance North Korea’s firepower against South Korea and improve the practicality of tactical nuclear weapons.

The event in Pyongyang featured military displays and fireworks, highlighting North Korea’s growing arsenal of mobile short-range weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles, the Associated Press has reported.
