True or False.

A Minor can open a Roth IRA?

True.

There is not a minimum age to open a Roth IRA.

It is known as a Custodial Roth IRA.

The minor must have earned income.

Earned income can come in the form of a W2, babysitting, lawn mowing, or working in the family business.

It is import to keep records of the income, especially if it comes from informal employment.
