MZTV 1532: Why Does Paul Say His Gospel Is "Not In Accord With Humanity"?

We often use Galatians 2:7 to prove that Paul taught a different gospel than that of Peter (“I have been entrusted with the evangel of the Uncircumcision, according as Peter of the Circumcision”) and this verse answers the bell nicely. But there is another verse not often considered that perhaps even more decisively proves our premise. It is in Galatians, chapter 1.

In addition, Paul states that his gospel is “not in accord with humanity” (Galatians 1:11). What does Paul mean by that? Is he saying that he didn’t get it from a man? It can’t be that, for the very next verse (verse 12) says, “neither did I accept it from a man.” So how is Paul’s gospel not in accord with humanity?
