Pre-Conditioning Back Pain Management
-
This morning I woke up in almost crippling pain. Once I moved around a bit it subsided from sharp and intense to dull and irritating but I knew I’d have to ease into today’s training
-
Before conditioning I did the following 4 movements as a warmup to make my spine a bit more amenable to more meaningfully stimulative training
-
I began with banded good mornings using one of my Westside Monster-Mini bands
-
Next, with the same band I did glute bridges using the stirrup configuration for concurrent hip AB-duction
-
Next I did the quadruplex or birddog on each side
-
Last, I did side planks or side bridges for isometric oblique work and shoulder stability
