Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 71 Flight Engineers Matt Dominick, Mike Barratt, Tracy Dyson, and Jeanette Epps of NASA discussed life and work aboard the orbital outpost during an in-flight interview July 30 with attendees at the International Space Station Research and Development conference in Boston. Dominick, Barratt, Dyson, and Epps are in the midst of long-duration missions aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration flights as part of NASA’s Moon and Mars exploration approach, including lunar missions through NASA’s Artemis program.
