With Saul's death, David was unsure how he would take over the Kingdom of Israel as the anointed by Samuel years earlier. However, the prophet has already died. The LORD instructed him to lead from Hebron where his fellow tribesmen inducted him as king. Yet, the commander of the army of Israel Abner placed Ish-Bosheth, Saul's son, as the new king. What will happen now that the kingdom is practically divided between the two men?
