Reciprocal Church #16 Daniel Ingram "Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha" P [Thomas Newsome] this video is one of a series that seeks to cover different aspects of the Reciprocal System of Theory (RST) of Dewey B Larson, and the Reciprocal System 2 (RS2) of Bruce Peret et.al.
The wide goal of this channel is about sharing all of my past experience and research into developing a spiritual path for our lives.  I was redpilled, so to speak, way back in about 1992, which caused me to drop my budding legal career (i had just finished law school and, had only been working for a law firm a few months).  I almost dropped out of society altogether, at least psychologically.  At that time; i didn't know anyone else who felt the same way.  I had no one to turn to, so I did a lot of research into old obscure books, a lot of meditation, and a lot of psychedelics.  Now, I stand on the shoulders of many brave souls who spent their whole lives working on problems, only to die in poverty and obscurity.  I have studied dozens and dozens of tour-de-force books from authors that no one has ever heard of.  I hope to share these findings on this channel.
Then, going within, I came up with a plan, or a mission, for my life, that made more sense to me than a legal career, and reflected my own individual nature, rather than being just a cog in the machine.  Needless to say, it has been a long, bumpy ride, but other than fine tuning, I'm still walking the same path 30 years later.
Most of what I'd like to present on this channel are the findings I've made over that time, including the many mistakes I have made.  I feel like a lot of people could benefit from learning about my experiences, “good” and “bad.”  To start, I have many articles and a short book about my interpretations of the ancient Egyptian Tree of Life and its use on the spiritual path.  Later this channel will also delve into my studies on fitness, nutrition, sacred geometry, and theory of everything.
I also intend to focus on my first book, which is a history of two groups of pretty obscure jazz musicians in Chicago in the 1950s and 60s, who have greatly helped me on my journey.  (While I was dropped out of society, I actually went to graduate school and got a Ph.D. in US History, and the book is an adaptation of my dissertation)
One thing that makes this channel unique is that the things I present are so far out there that few people, even in
spiritual circles, have ever heard of them.  I am attempting to resurrect so many of my heroes from the dustbin of history---they were too far ahead of their time, but now their time has come.
