Just past Two Pan Trailhead, gateway to INCREDIBLE Eagle Cap Wilderness heading South, on the edge of Eagle Cap Wilderness, there are Tree Signs that teach/train you How Far 100 FT Is by measuring/counting your steps from one to the other for the purposes of Backcountry Dispersed Camping in the proximity of Lakes & Rivers in Eagle Cap Wilderness! I performed the Exercise here, doing small stride steps not large steps, and got 50 Steps as a Unit of Measurement. I did this on July 12, 2024.
