King Kong (1933)

Directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack, starring Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong, and Bruce Cabot. The story follows filmmaker Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) as he leads an expedition to the mysterious Skull Island to shoot a new movie. There, they encounter the island's colossal ape, Kong, who becomes infatuated with the film's leading lady, Ann Darrow (Fay Wray).
