Donald Trump's son says mainstream media is putting Kamala Harris on a 'fake pedestal'

Donald Trump's son Eric Trump has hit out at the media for putting Kamala Harris on what he called a "fake pedestal".

He said: "I think the mainstream media and the United States has put her on this pedestal, it's a fake pedestal, no different than the pedestal they put Joe Biden on."

Trump denied that Harris has greater momentum than his father saying he can draw more people to events than the current vice president.

He also talked about the assassination attempt on his father and defended JD Vance as the vice-presidential pick.
