The fight for Biafra is Africa's struggle for freedom

During the scramble and partition of Africa, the European colonisers divided up the land without reference to the various nationalities. in the case of Nigeria, Britain amalgamated the Northern and Southern protectorate in 1914 forcing different nationalities to live under a British commercial entity which is modern day Nigeria.

Using the British colonial policy of divide and rule, Britain exploited the different nationalities. As Nigeria's independence was a sham, Britain continues to maintain control over Nigeria util today.
