Bonner County Commissioners Vote In Favor Of $72k Severance

Today, Bonner County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) Luke Omodt and Steve Bradshaw voted to award former employee Jessi Reinbold a severance of one year's pay, around $72,000. Reinbold quit her job as an employee of Bonner County after allegedly claiming she and other employees at the Bonner County Administrative Building had been harassed by Bonner County Commissioner Asia Williams.

This was proven to be untrue after two investigations.

The forced vote followed a workshop featuring Bonner County Sheriff Daryl Wheeler early this morning (highlights will be posted here soon). Sheriff Wheeler spoke to those in attendance about the possible fallout from the BOCC's threat to cut funding to employ numerous positions within the Bonner County Sheriff's Department, some of which are currently unfilled.

A full house attended, including many in law enforcement who seemed dismayed at such an endeavor and the danger it could pose to the public at large.

  • Asia and people like her have destroyed England, Los Angeles, New York and many other blue states and they will destroy North Idaho if we let them, or for the traitors who have moved who will help them willingly.

  • If the allegations were proven to be untrue, why vote in favor of a severance pay of 72k?. . This appears to be sketchy. Couldn't that money be spent elsewhere?

  • Live in PacNW but not within ID border - yet, Greater Idaho Project tho and so follow somewhat local news especially CdA & north of (almost moved to Rathdrum last Spring.) Around same time somehow YT suggestions displayed Bonner County Commisioners meets and kinda got hooked on. Not gonna lie was stunned to see the makeup of it. Then, read both men lost election primaries and tho that's gotta hurt I imagine, an upside neither any longer having to listen to their insufferable cohort. Admit too, not a little taken aback at the cuckery among the Northern ID manfolk. Okay yeah maybe the Chair a bit too, "by the book" but certainly more representative of the local demographic - and more in line w/ the community's "way of like" shall we say. Any opinions of locals welcomed ...
